ABOUT THE ARTIST
In her creative approach, Elena Albu obsessively analyzes the process of artistic creation through several stages. Look for hidden meanings in the structure of the material, up to a complete virtual dissection of the primordial elements.
After going through a period in which she experimented with various techniques and work environments and creatively interpreted various subjects, the artist goes through revealing experiences: she comes into contact with abstract expressionism, an artistic style that leads her to the essence of transformation and helps her discover the inner dimensions of music, which she decomposes and analyzes with passion. It tests the musical composition as a means of artistic expression and visually transposes the expression of harmony.

Artist Statement
Elena Nicoleta Albu (b. 1982, Braila) lives and carries out her artistic activity in Bucharest. Graduated in painting (2014), she attended the master courses in Creative Strategies in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts within the National University of Arts in Bucharest. In 2020 he graduated from the Faculty of History and Art Theory - Department for Teacher Training. Since 2019 he is a member of the U.A.P. Romania, Painting, Bucharest Branch.
Her artistic activity is represented by works made in the technique of painting, installations and objects - she combines various materials, work techniques and environments, in order to create interactive works.
She has exhibited works in several museums and galleries in the country and abroad. She has works in private collections in several countries.
