ABOUT THE ARTIST

Pieer Luigi Bertig, is a Romanian contemporary artist, born in Romania in 1983, precisely Braila (small cute town by the Donau), not far for the Delta. He comes from a Italo-Romanian family, surrounded by artists and their art. Grandfather Giuseppe Bertig carved in stone, uncles Ervin Holtier painter and sculptor and Vittorio Holtier painter and scenographer and last but not least, mother Mariana costume designer.

Pieer Luigi Bertig participated in the first exhibition in 1996, at the Braila Art Gallery, with works that represented static nature, under the guidance of the teacher and painter Radu Pencea.
