Art in Conversation Open Call is offering the opportunity to show your artwork in our online gallery as well as in our 3D Galleries.

Romanian Artists, worldwide, are invited to become ART IN CONVERSATION members and to submit their work.

 

No entry fee to exhibit!

Before submitting your work 

​

We invite you to review the Requirements for Membership below.

​

You must meet at least 3 (three) criteria to apply. 

​

• Regularly making and exhibiting artwork

• Received professional grants or awards

• Socially engaged in an artistic community

• Engaged in self-organized professional activity (such as artist studio) 

• A degree in visual/applied arts / fine arts

• Commissioned by a public institution

• Artworks in public collections (such as museums, art centres) 

• Artwork featured in an art publication

• Represented by a gallery

• Taken part in accredited residencies

Please note that before submitting your work with us we must agree to the following:

Exhibition Agreement

• Agree to exhibit works for a time and deal with any sales that might arise during the exhibition period on a commission basis; such agreements will be discussed; 

​

Gallery Agreement

• Agree to act as representative for the artist in, say, the U.K. or Europe, promising to promote the artist’s work thereby exhibiting and selling; 

​

Publishing Agreement

• Agree to exhibit online on www.artinconversation.co.uk, on Art in Conversation social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), and on periodical Art in Conversation Catalogues and promotional materials.

All visual art mediums are allowed*.

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

​

• Full contact details including postal address, email, and phone number

• A profile picture 

• Artist statement

• About the artist - critical references

• Your artistic CV 

• At least 10 (ten) images of recent work

• Images should be named: artist_nane_title_year.jpg

• List of details should be as following: 

          Artwork title, year

          Size (dimensions) 

          Orientation (landscape / portrait / square) 

          Style (abstract, figurative, etc.) 

          Technique (acrylic, oil, mixed media, etc.) 

          Medium (canvas, paper, cardboard, wood, etc.)

• Details of any online resources such as your website, social media accounts
