Art in Conversation and Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu, Romanian Cosmonaut, celebrates 40 years since his flight in space with a unique series of paintings dedicated to this occasion.
Art In Conversation launches the “First Flight - 40 years” Silent Auction where, exclusively, our artists are committing a number of dedicated artworks.

The collected amount raised from your generous bids will go towards Mia's Children, a non-profit organization licensed and accredited in Romania, after covering artists' expenses. www.mias-children.ro/en/
On 14 May 1981, Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu became the first Romanian cosmonaut flying on Soyuz-40 mission, part of the Intercosmos program.
The mission lasted 7 days, 20 hours, 41 minutes, 52 seconds.
